How many times have you entered your name into a drawing, just for the hell of it, never thinking you’d actually win anything? I have to admit I’ve been lucky at winning drawings a few times in my life. At my Junior prom I won a 1978 Toyota Corolla, which lasted me throughout my Junior year in college. Then in college I was the lucky recipient of a Fossil watch. So, I figure I’ve used quite a bit of prize winning luck, but every now and then I strike gold again. So, about a month ago I entered to win a prize package that the Richmond Times Dispatch was giving away. I filled out the entry form, dropped it in the mail, then two days ago, lo and behold, I win, I win! Is the suspense killing you? Are you wondering what it was? I won a gift certificate that entitles me to two full truckloads of junk removal with 1-800-GOT-JUNK and ten Glide-Outs from Shelf Conversions! I’ll be honest. I really could care less about the junk removal. We don’t have an abundance of junk and what junk we have we try to either donate to charity or Freecycle. After all, your junk may be another person’s treasure. But, I am super excited about the shelf conversion kit! Whoopie! I just need to figure out which shelves to convert!
